Donald E. Wildasin

HANOVER/YORK Donald E. Wildasin, 89, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at his residence in York. He was the husband of the late Anita Rosalie (Williams) Wildasin. Donald was a mechanic/owner/ operator of Wildasin's Exxon Service in York for over 40 years. He was a WWII veteran, serving with the Army Air Corps. He was an avid bowler and golfer, ham radio operator, and enjoyed refinishing old furniture and gardening. Born in Hanover, on December 10, 1923, he was the son of the late John R. and Bertha (Rohrbaugh) Wildasin. He leaves two daughters, Dr. Kathleen Jones of Blacksburg, Va., and Rebecca Kahler and her husband, Michael of York; four grandchildren, Brandon P. Hershey and his wife, Valerie, Emily Huwer and her husband, Joe, Danielle Hershey and her husband, Robert, and Corinne Kahler; and seven great-grandchildren. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St. in York. Military honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will be private.
