Ernest E. Gibson ll

MT. WOLF Ernest E. Gibson ll, entered into rest on Saturday at York Hospital. He was born May 25, 1954, in York. The son of the late Ernest E. Gibson, Sr. and Olivett (Trone) Gibson. Ernie was a 1972 graduate of Vo Tech. He had worked for over 20 years at the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. He was a member of the teamsters union at the paper. A celebration of life gathering will be at Maewyn's Irish Pub in the Abbey Room above the restuarant, 110 N. George St., York from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., is assisting with arrangements. He is survived by a son, Ernest E. Gibson lll of Los Angeles, Calif.; 10 siblings, Michael E. Gibson and wife Sylvia, Jeffrey D. Gibson, Jerry J. Gibson, Philip C. Gibson and wife Mary, Deborah A. Mittel, Melanie J. Hoffman and husband George, Priscilla E. Stambaugh and husband Steven, Pamela S. Geesey and husband Brian, all of York, Joseph A. Gibson and wife Lori of Idaho and Timothy T. Gibson of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother Steven R. Gibson preceded him in death. He also leaves his close friends Jim and Tina Yost who the family would like to express their thanks to for there help with Ernie.
