Helen M. Minnich

STARVIEW Helen M. Minnich, 93, died at 7:20 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013, at the York County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Franklin W. Minnich, Sr. Born October 3, 1919, in York, a daughter of the late William E. and Pauline (Freed) Frey, she was a member of Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening. She had raised chickens for butchering and sold eggs to many loyal customers in Starview. Mrs. Minnich is survived by three sons, Franklin W. Minnich, Jr. and his wife, Dirinda of York, Gerald R. Minnich and his wife, Linda of Wrightsville, and Timothy I. Minnich and his wife, Jamie of Spring Grove; nine grandchildren, Lisa Gentzler, Victoria Yohe, Marci Sutton, Dana Mann, Mark Minnich, Gerald Minnich, Jr., Trevis Minnich, Traci Minnich, and Logan Minnich; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lorraine Strickhouser, Doris Saylor, Jocleta Wilson, and Geraldine Tarlton. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church, 85 Old Church Lane, Hellam, with her Pastor, The Rev. Marion Haynes-Weller, officiating. Viewings will be 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
