Juan Bonilla Jr.

YORK Juan "Cano" Bonilla, Jr., 21, was called to heaven on Saturday, November 24, 2012. Born June 11, 1991, in Reading, he was a son of Juan Bonilla, Sr., and Everlidis (Oquendo) Bonilla of York. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bonilla is survived by two sisters, Tanya M. Bonilla of Reading and Morelia M. Bonilla of York; a brother, Jovanny Oliveras of York; maternal grandmother, Cecilia Oquendo of York; his fiance, Saquana T. Layer of York; aunts, Claribel Bonilla of Reading and Maribel Salazar of York; his beloved Yorkie, Prada; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews and friends in Reading and York. He also goes to join his beloved paternal grandmother, Iluminada Lugo; paternal grandfather, Juan Bonilla; maternal grandfather Esteban Oquendo; and his cousin, Idder Salazar. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, 825 E. Princess St., with Elder Leighton McMillan, Sr., officiating.
