Lee E. Bloss

YORK Lee E. Bloss, 62, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Deborah (Davis) Bloss of York. Lee was born February 3, 1951, in Mount Wolf, the son of Robert and Leona (Nace) Bloss of Mount Wolf. In 1969 he graduated from York Vo-Tech. He was employed as a truck driver for over 12 years with Schaedler Yesco. He was a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon, York Lodge 0266 F.A.M. of Pennsylvania, Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf, Hawks club, Liberty Club, Active Retired member of Eagle Fire Company in Mount Wolf, 13th Ward in York and St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf. Known to family and friends as "Mr. Fix-it". In addition to his wife, Deborah, Lee is survived by his step-son, Chad Strawbridge of Dallastown; his two daughters, Marisa Bloss of Manchester, Laura Bloss of York; and his step-daughter, Kim Forney of Windsor; four grandchildren and his sister, Suzanne Becker of York. His funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday and 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be The Reverend Jason Northridge from St. John Lutheran Church.
