Lennis N. Dedrick Sr.

YORK Lennis N. Dedrick, Sr., 83, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Sarah E. (Stabley) Dedrick, who died on December 7, 1987. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, at Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. The service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with his nephew, the Rev. Dr. Reed Ness, pastor of Campbel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Dedrick, who was a retired truck driver after 34 years with both William Christensen and Borger Steel, was born July 16, 1930, in York, and was the son of the late Charles M. and Anna V. (Sechrist) Dedrick. He is survived by three daughters; three sons; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
