Leroy H. Sauble Sr.

YORK Leroy H. Sauble,Sr., 76, entered the presence of God on Sunday, March 24, 2013, from his home. He was the husband of the late Ardella (Klinedinst) Sauble. Born on October 8, 1936, in Red Lion, the son of the late Dorothy (Platts) and Roy H. Sauble. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed in earlier years as a truck driver for a local beer distributor. Leroy is survived by his children, Dorothy Klinedinst of York, James Olewiler of Red Lion, Leslie Olewiler of York, Leroy Keener of Dallastown; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Sauble; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Mort, Janet Dlessner and John Sauble. A viewing will be on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The service will begin at 7 p.m. with the York County Veterans Honor Guard performing full military rites. Rev. Charles Lindeman will be officiating. Interment will be on Friday at 1 p.m. in Mount Rose Cemetery. Please meet inside the entrance by 12:50 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., York, is entrusted with the arrangements.
