Loretta M. Ebersole

DOVER On Friday, February 1, 2013, the Lord opened his arms and welcomed Loretta Mae King Ebersole. Born on April 29, 1942, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora Fisher King. Loretta was the wife of Clarence E. Ebersole Sr. with whom she celebrated 25 years of marriage this past January 7th. Loretta retired from McCrory's Distribution Center after 30 years of service. She also worked for York Newspaper. Loretta was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church and East Berlin Fish and Game Club. Surviving, in addition to her husband Clarence E Ebersole Sr., is a daughter, Susan Jones of Dover; two step children, Clarence E. Ebersole Jr. of York, and Karen Koon of Elizabethtown. Also surviving is a grandson, a brother, Robert Fishel husband of Barbara; a sister, Shirley Sheafer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step daughter, Susan Essig. A Memorial Service honoring Loretta's life will be held at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church 1030 Carlisle Road, York, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. Family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
