Lydia M. Dickensheets

YORK Lydia M. March Dickensheets, 91, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Clyde A. Dickensheets, and the late Irvin L. March, Jr. Private burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Avenue, is assisting the family. Mrs. Dickensheets was born April 15, 1923, in North York, a daughter of the late George C., and Nettie (Ruby) Rohler. She had been employed at Franklin Discount Store, Wolf's Supply Co., and Schmuck's Dry Cleaning. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and Church Women United. She was a Life Member of White Rose Auxiliary of VFW Post 556. Lydia is survived by her daughters, Judy Murphy and her husband Robert, and Janice Poff and her husband R. Dean Poff II; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Rohler and his wife Mary Ann, and David Rohler and his wife Charlotte. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Curvin, Clarence, Vincent, and Alfred Rohler; and a grandson, Richard Murphy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Assn, 540 S. George St., York, PA 17405.
