SHREWSBURY Naomi R. (Wright) Hanna, 82, formerly of Stewartstown, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was the wife of the late John Joshua Hanna. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, from J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, with Pastor Larry W. Parlett officiating. The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. She was born August 24, 1930, in Stewartstown, a daughter of the late Charles E. Sr., and Buela G. (Althouse) Wright, and the step-daughter of the late Henrietta H. Wright. Naomi retired from York Hospital, after 17 years of service. She previously worked for both the former Fawn Grove and Stewartstown sewing factories. After her retirement, Naomi worked part-time at Saubel's Market in Shrewsbury. She was a member of Stewartstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, was a great cook, and loved family gatherings. Naomi is survived by two children, C. Robert "Bob" Hanna and his wife, Dolores of Camp Hill, and Betty Carter and her husband, Bob of Felton; two grandchildren, Christopher Hanna and his wife, Brittni, and Ashley Johnson and her husband, Austin; and a brother, Charles E. Wright, Jr. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Carter and two sisters, Mary Curry and Edna Crawford.
