Norma I. Weirich

GOLDSBORO Norma I. Weirich, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Memorial Hospital, with her husband, son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was the wife of Wilbert H. Weirich. Born February 15, 1925, in Goldsboro, a daughter of the late Lester and Ella (Sipe) Schlosser, she had been employed as a seamstress with the Goldsboro Garment Factory. She enjoyed gardening and had attended Sunday school at Paddletown Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Newberrytown. In addition to her husband of more than 65 years, Mrs. Weirich is survived by a son, Gregory L. Weirich and his wife Cathy, of Manchester; and a brother, Glenn Schlosser and his wife Gayle, of Goldsboro. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stewart and Lester Schlosser; and two sisters, Gretna Lauer and Charlotte Kemper. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with the Rev. Ellen Scamahorn officiating. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown. Memorial contributions may be made to .
