GLEN ROCK Norman C. Lehigh, 56, died, Monday, November 5, 2012, at his residence. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Norman was born on September 29, 1956, in York, a son of Mayme (Key) Lehigh of Shrewsbury and the late Norman A. Lehigh. He graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1975 and was a U.S. Army
Veteran. He was also active with the SYC Youth Football and Wrestling program for many years being known as "Coach Norm" and had been employed as a machinist with American Chain and Cable Company, York. He was a member of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post 403. Besides his mother, he also leaves a daughter, Bonnie A. Zimmerman of Mt. Joy; a son, Christopher M. Lehigh of Baltimore; four grandchildren; four sisters, Nadine Nichols, Catherine Wilcox, Glenda Sauble and Precious Bortner; and a brother, Michael Lehigh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, Pa 17327, to help the family defray funeral expenses.
