Pauline M. Dennis

YORK Pauline M. (Irwin) Dennis, 90, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Manor Care South, Pauline Drive. She was the wife of Henry P. Dennis, Sr., who passed away in 2006. Mrs. Dennis was born in Strinestown, on February 5, 1922, daughter to the late Admiral D. and Elsie M. (Spangler) Irwin. She was a member of Paddletown St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Etters. She was also a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post 791, West York V.F.W. Post 8951, the 25 Year Club of Dentsply International, and the West Manchester Mall Walkers. Pauline retired after 26 years of service as a major inspector for Dentsply International in 1981. She is survived by two sons, Marlin E. Dennis of York and Henry P. Dennis, Jr. of Windsor; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral service will held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Joyce Treas. Final resting place will be in Greenmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paddletown St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 355 Church Road, Etters, PA 17319; or to Community Hospice of Lancaster, Golden Living Center - Lancaster, 425 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
