Raymond D. Walker Jr.

Walker, Jr. YORK Raymond D. Walker, Jr., 78, died on December 7, 2012, at Rest Haven, York. He was the husband of the late Jean Louise (Billet) Walker. Born in York, on July 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Raymond D. Walker, Sr. and the late Thelma (Lehr) Walker. He was a sheet metal worker for the Local 19 Union. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Raymond was a member of the Kreutz Creek Valley VFW Post 7045, the Pleasureville American Legion Post 799, the Delphia Club, the 12th Ward Democratic Club and the Hawks Gunning Club. An avid golfer he had two holes in one. He is survived by three children, Vicki L. Walker of York, Michael S. Walker of York and Timothy Ray Walker of York; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamilee and Dana; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Larry Walker of York, Rick Walker of York, Bill Walker of York, and Ike Walker of Fla.; and his good friend, Shoei.
