Ronald R. Treichler

YORK Ronald R. Treichler, 80, of 1920 Trolley Road, formerly of Elizabethtown, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Ronald was born on December 12, 1932, in Lancaster, and was the son of the late William and Beulah G. Flowers Treichler. Ronald was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School class of 1951. He was a retired water treatment engineer at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. Ronald was a member of the United Church of Christ, 247 S. Market St., Elizabethtown. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, coaching softball, and coin collecting. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Doris J. (Good) Treichler; three daughters, Renee M. Strathmeyer, Rhonda R. Vacante, married to Joseph Vacante, and Rachelle R. Kuntz, married to Eddie Kuntz, all of York; seven grandchildren, Allison, Shaun, and Tony Strathmeyer, Brooklyn and Gianna Vacante, and Taylor and Eden Kuntz. A tribute to his life will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with the Rev. Fred Young officiating. Viewing will be on Monday from 12 noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Annville.
