Shaun S. Albright

GLEN ROCK Shaun S. Albright, 19, of Springfield Township, passed away Sunday January 9, 2011, at York Hospital. Born August 17, 1991, in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of Samuel J. and Barbara A. (Tuma) Albright of Glen Rock. He was a student at Penn State York, where he had a dual major in History and Political Science, with a cumulative GPA of 3.85. He was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church, an Eagle Scout, and an avid Star Wars fan. His true passion was music, particularly Christian rock. He enjoyed playing guitar with his band, Hugo Strange. In addition to his parents, Shaun is survived by a brother, Samuel J. Albright of Glen Rock; a half brother, Petty Officer Third Class Clayton C. Albright of Goose Creek, S.C.; two foster brothers, Michael Biechler and Alexander (Syncere) Albright, both of Glen Rock; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Frank J. Tuma, Jr. of Middle River, Md.; and his beloved cat, Lex. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Providence Presbyterian Church, 1215 Church Road, York, with The Rev. Andrew C. Phillips, The Rev Aaron J. Anderson, and The Rev. Darryl K. MacPherson officiating. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, both at the church. Burial will be private.
