Terry A. Hake

YORK Terry Allen Hake, 60, formerly of Wrightsville, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Brenda L. Clevenstine Hake. Terry was born July 10, 1952, in Columbia, a son of the late Charles "Kervin" and Etta M. Ridgeway Hake. Terry was a carpenter/plumber by trade. When he was younger, he served as a volunteer firefighter for Wrightsville and also served one year as a police officer for Wrightsville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by four sons, Terry A. Hake, II and his wife, Michelle of Wrightsville, and Brent A. Hake, Thomas C. Hake, and Cody L. Hake, all at home; a granddaughter, Saige A. Hake of Wrightsville; three grandsons, Bryce R. Hake and Aidan C. Hake, both of Wrightsville, and Michael T. Hake of York; three sisters, Melanie Hake Franco Budiarto of Marietta, and Melissa Fitzkee and her husband, Ken, and Kimberly K. Sparkman and her husband, Richard, all of Wrightsville; two brothers, Timothy C. Hake and his wife, Bernadette of Delaware, and Samuel "Lane" Hake of Hallam; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at the Wrightsville Fire Hall on Sunday, December 2, at 1 p.m. with refreshments to follow. The John W.
