Terry W. Dolan

YORK HAVEN Terry W. Dolan, 70, of Newberry Township, died at 8:13 p.m. Friday at his residence. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Heindel) Dolan. Born May 6, 1943, in Harrisburg, a son of the late Clarence D. and Edna C. (Wilson) Dolan, he was the founder and former owner of Dolan Oil Service. Mr. Dolan also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and was a life member of James A. Danner VFW Post #537, Etters. His Masonic affiliations included Lowther Manor Lodge #781, Free and Accepted Mason. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Douglas W. Dolan and his wife, Tammy of Goldsboro, and Jeffrey L. Dolan and his wife, Kimberly of York Haven; four granddaughters, Heather Goodwin and her husband, Kevin, Nichole Dolan, Meghan Dolan, and Courtney Dolan; one great-grandson, Chayce Goodwin; a sister, Sherry E. Updegraff; and a brother, Dennis L. Dolan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Barry D. Dolan. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with The Rev. Mark A. Zortman officiating. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014, at Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown, with military rites presented by the York County Veteran Honor Guard.
