Terry L. Kuntz

YORK Terry L. Kuntz, 87, died November 3, 2014 at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. He was the husband of Betty J. (Livingston) Kuntz. The couple observed their 67th wedding anniversary on July 26th of this year. Born in York on February 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Luther J. and Florence E. (Kohler) Kuntz. Terry was a graduate of William Penn High School Class of 19M45. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WW II. Retiring after 40 years, he was owner of Kuntz's Floor Coverings in York. Memberships include Calvary U.M. Church, York Lodge # 266 F & AM, York Forest # 30, and AASR Valley of Harrisburg. He was an officer for many years with the Wesley Fellowship Class, a trustee of Calvary U.M. Church, a member of the Keystone Freestaters Square Dance Camping Club, the White Rose Square Dance Club, White Rose Round Dance Club, Continental Square Dance Club, West York AARP, and the Catillion Dance Club. He was President of the West York Wrestling Booster Club in 1970. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Mark L. Kuntz and his wife, Barbara, and Brian J. Kuntz and his wife, Sue; a daughter, Lauren M. Goodling; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a step great-grandson; and three sisters, Dorothy Klinedinst, Judy Yingling, and Carol Leib. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Calvary U.M. Church, 11 N. Richland Ave. in York. The service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Greenmount Cemetery.
