MANCHESTER Anna M. Koval, 95, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was married for 57 years to Bernard A. "Doc" Koval, who died in 2002. Born October 25, 1918, in York, a daughter of the late Carl H. and Claudia (Inners) Oermann, she was a graduate of Penn State University and taught for the York City and Northeastern School Districts. Mrs. Koval will be greatly missed by her family: daughter, Judith Koval of Chambersburg, daughter, Carol Kafer and her husband, Rudolph of Montoursville, son, Carl Koval and his wife, Christa of Arvada, Colo., son, John Koval and his wife, Ann of Manheim, and her grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, MaryAnne, Olivia, and Kayla. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Koval; three sisters, Susan Oermann, Elizabeth Keiper, and Carolyn Oermann; and a brother, William Oermann. Funeral services will be private. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
