ETTERS Bob Allen Dubs, 60, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at his home. A Vietnam War Navy veteran, he retired as a Program Analyst for Foreign Military Sales from the former Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. Recently he had worked as a Sales Associate at Lowes in Mechanicsburg and he delivered parts for Bobby Rahal Automotive dealerships. He was also a PIAA Volleyball Referee. He loved to cook and eat, help people, watch Clint Eastwood movies, and NASCAR. He was a fan of Jimmy Johnson. Bob had a vivacious personality and brought smiles to all who knew him. He was born November 26, 1952, in York, to the late Bob Daniel and Alverta (Poff) Dubs. He is survived by his wife, Vicki L. (Fisher) Dubs; two sons, Shawn A. of Hershey and Alex J. of Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga.; a daughter, Danielle N. Dubs of Etters; brother, Lee B. Dubs of Glennville; three sisters, Christine E. Dubs and Sharon R. Dubs, both of York, and Iris S. Rerko (James) of Fayetteville, N.C. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Celtic Hospice, 220 Wilson St., Suite 100, Carlisle, PA 17013; or to , Cumberland, Dauphin & Perry Counties: Capital Area Unit, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 101, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
