YORK Brian D. Edmondson, 54, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at his home. He was the husband on Tonya L. (Nickey) Edmondson. Born in Baltimore, Md., on October 1, 1959, he was the son of the late Norman Eugene and Frances (Derby) Edmondson. He was a graduate of Susquehanock High School and attended Penn State University. Brian was an engineer for FCI and was a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He was also a member of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian D. Edmondson, Jr. of Newberrytown; a granddaughter, Karydi Edmondson; two sisters, Carol Santucci of Dundalk, Md., and Donna Bayne of Towson, Md.; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home 1111 E. Market St., York, with Pastor Jim Herbert officiating. Viewings will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
