DOVER Charles E. Fox, 76, of Dover Township, died at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday at Manor Care Health Services Kingston Court. He was the husband of Jan E. (Everhart) Fox. Born May 10, 1935, in Harrisburg, a son of the late Charles C. and Clara E. (Brinkerhoff) Fox, he was retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, where he was a store manager for more than 20 years. He was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Manchester, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fox is survived by his mother-in-law, Mary I. "Pat" Everhart of Manchester; a brother, Robert L. Fox, Sr., of New Cumberland; and a beloved menagerie of cats. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary R. Fox, Sr., and a sister, Bernadette M. Pierre. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with The Rev. Larry J. Theisen, officiating. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 35, Maryland Line, MD 21105.
