Charlotte M. Hake Obituary
YORK Charlotte M. Hake, 77, died at 11 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Misericordia Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Dale L. Hake. Born July 21, 1936, in York, a daughter of the late Roy A. and Ada (Miller) Myers, she had worked for Bern Haven Sewing Factory, Record Club of America, Burndy Corporation, and York Suit Company. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Starview, and was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Loyal Order of Moose auxiliaries. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, dancing, camping, going to the beach and hunting camp, and gathering with friends. Mrs. Hake is survived by two daughters, Cindy M. Wiles and her husband, Robert of New Park, and Linda A. Hake of York; two grandsons, Shawn M. Hake and Travis D. Wiles; and a great-granddaughter, Shari O. Hake. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale L. Hake, II; two brothers, John and Robert Myers; and a sister, Catherine Loucks. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with her Pastor, The Rev. Richard Starr, officiating.
