STEWARTSTOWN Don Wayne McClure, 62, entered into rest Monday October 28, 2013, at Barbara Egan Nursing Center Shrewsbury. He was the husband of the late Sharon (McCullough) McClure. The service will be private. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assisting the family. Mr. McClure was born March 26, 1951, in Baltimore, a son of the late Joseph Don and Jane Carol (Pledge) McClure. He was employed as a Mason. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a graduate of Kennard Dale High School and belonged to Hopewell Fish and Game Club and the VFW post in Stewartstown. He loved NASCAR, baseball and football and hunting and fishing. Don is survived by a brother, David N. McClure; a half-brother, Michael A. McClure and his wife, Brenda of Bently Springs, Md.; a half-sister, Michele Stonesifer and her husband, Stoney of Littlestown; an aunt, Judith Smith of Maryland; and his beloved cat, Mittens.
