DOVER Donald Farias, 80, of Dover Township, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at his residence. Born July 29, 1933, in Fall River, Mass., a son of the late Manuel and Angelina (Muniz) Farias, he was retired as a Computer Analyst for the U.S. Navy. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post #791. Mr. Farias is survived by two daughters, Sharon M. Vincent, and her boyfriend Glenn Miller, of Dover, and Susan D. Farias of York; two sons, Donald Farias, Jr., and his wife Susan, of Chepachet, R.I., and David B. Farias, and his wife Sheila, of Somerset, Mass.; eight grandchildren, Jen, Kelli, Jaclyn, Sam, Daniel, Shawn, Ellie, and Jimmy; two brothers, Robert and Paul Farias; a sister, Joann Schmidt; and his very best friend, James Vincent, of Dover. A great-grand daughter, Lilia, is expected in late July. A service to recognize Mr. Farias' life is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh. Visitation will be 5 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the Farias family reminds everyone to make time to have dinner together as a family, as we never know how long we will have the opportunity to do so.
