YORK George H. Devine, 82, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Manor Care Kingston Court. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Schmidt) Devine for 57 years. A viewing will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assisting the family. Mr. Devine was born July 10, 1930, in Columbia, a son of the late David A., and Annie (McCall) Devine. He was a retired automotive parts salesman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Dallastown Post. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Merrymakers. George is survived by his wife; sons, Keith A. Devine, Mark A. Devine and his wife, Tammy of Red Lion, and Brian D. Devine and his wife, Diana of New Albany, Ind.; five grandchildren and one expected great grandchild; two sisters, Gloria Douglas of Fenwick Island, Del., and Nancy Nau and her husband, Art of Souderton.
