EAST BERLIN George J. Bradford, 84, passed away, Sunday, August 24, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Bradford was born on November 18, 1929, in Camden, N.J., son of the late Joseph and Marie (Armstrong) Bradford. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy/Air Force. He received his engineering degree from Princeton University. He was the owner/ operator of the former Galt Controls for 37 years and was owner/operator of the former MST Ltd., Barbados, West Indies, for 27 years. Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia E. Lynn of Petersburg, Alaska, Kira Kessler and her husband, Thomas of East Berlin, and Jody M. Bradford of Princeton, N.J.; one son, Tod M. Bradford and his wife, Cecily of York; six grandchildren, Curtis Oviatt, Jarod Bradford, Jade Bradford, Brenda Lynn, Laura Lynn, and Jamie Lynn; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Peterson and her husband, Roy of Titusville, Fla. He was preceded is death by a daughter, Pamala Bradford, and a brother, Robert Bradford. There will be a memorial service 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the Koller Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York. Officiating will be Pastor Rene' Kinard. There will be a visitation 11 to 11:30 a.m. Full military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard will be performed prior to the service. There will be a private burial at the convenience of the family. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., 912 Killian Hill Road S.W., Lilburn, GA, 30047.
