Georgia Hedrick Obituary

BALTIMORE CO., MD Georgia "Cathy" Hedrick, 63, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Summit Park Health and Rehabilitation in Catonsville, Md. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon Thursday from J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The Rev. Dr. Peggy Click will officiate. A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, Md. Born October 11, 1948 in Hereford, Md., the daughter of the late Harry C. and Nancy (Gifford) Hedrick. Cathy was a lifelong resident of Baltimore County, Md. She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Parkton, Md. Cathy is survived by two sisters, Jean M. Hedrick of Elkridge, Md., and Ruth E. Page and her husband, David of Romsey, Hampshire, United Kingdom. She is also survived by two nephews, Edmund, and Berkley Hathorne, and one great-niece, Lindsey Hathorne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baltimore County Social Services, 6401 York Road, #1, Baltimore, MD 21212.
