WRIGHTSVILLE James W. Lyons, 68, died, Monday, September 9, 2013, at his residence. He was the companion of Patricia Slow. Born on March 26, 1945, in Sunbury, he was the son of the late Joseph and Evelan (Snyder) Lyons. Mr. Lyons retired from Sheffer Beer Distributor Company, Inc. as a plant supervisor. James was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and was a avid golfer. He also enjoyed being with his family. Mr. Lyons is survived by a son, Eric J. Lyons and a daughter-in-law, Melissa L. Lyons; two grandchildren; one great-grandchildren and his siblings, John Lyons, Jerry Lyons, Jeanette Lyons and Jackie Lyons, all of York. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Lyons of Ohio. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Road, Jacobus, PA 17407 with the Chaplain Ellen Good officiating. Burial will be private.
