RED LION Larry David Roth, 65, formerly of Beltsville, Md., entered into rest at 6:45 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, after a lengthy illness at York Hospital. He was born in Quakertown, on July 20, 1948, and was the son of Clarence R. Roth of Quakertown and the late Althea Roth. Mr. Roth was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. In addition to his father, Clarence, he is survived by a son, Sean C. Roth (Amanda) of Red Lion; a daughter, Renee M. Roth of Red Lion; one grandson; three brothers; one sister; four nieces; and four nephews. Viewings will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Quakertown and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Larry will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home in Red Lion. The Rev. Kevin G. McGhee, pastor of Bethany Community Church in Laurel, Md., will officiate locally and Pastor Ron Kohl will officiate in Quakertown. Burial will follow the service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military rites.
