YORK Michael H. Givler, 58, died at 3:11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at his residence. Born November 27, 1954, in Tyrone, he was the son of the late George and Thelma (Stonebraker) Givler. Michael was an electrical engineer with Graham Packaging and had 20 years of service with the company. He was a 1972 graduate of Tyrone High School and a 1976 graduate of Penn State University, cum laude. He was a member of the men's fraternity of the Lives Changed By Christ Church. Michael also volunteered 10 plus years of his services with the York County Parks for the Moonlight Boat Rides on Lake Redman and the Astrology group, which met at Richard M. Nixon County Park. Klinedinst and her husband, Keith of York; brother, Greg Givler and his wife, Donna of Tyrone; and two stepgrandchildren, Vincint P. and Allison K. Klinedinst of York. Family and friends are cordially invited to visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Richard R. Galutia, a friend and member of the LCBC men's fraternity, will officiate. A private burial will be held in Tyrone Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
