YORK Philip E. Forry, 89, of West Manchester Township, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Manor Care Health Services South. He was the husband of the late Dorothy I. (Glatfelter) Forry. Born June 25, 1923, in York, one of five children of the late Louis H. and Alverta (Welcomer) Forry, he was the founder and owner of Forry's Drive-In in York Haven, which he operated from 1964-1974. He also was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Quickel Lutheran Church, Zions View, and was a life member of the Rooster Social Club. Mr. Forry is survived by two sons, Larry E. Forry of Norristown, and Michael L. Forry and his lifelong companion, Darlene Young of Gardners; four grandchildren, Jamie Forry and his wife, Lisa, Troy Forry and his wife, Ashley, Denise Forry, and Stacey Shearer and her husband, Nathan; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Brenton Forry; and Darlene's children and grandchildren, Kelly Wentz and her husband, James, Jay Acri, Danny Wentz, Andy Wentz, and Chase Acri. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis R. Forry. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at Quickel Lutheran Church, 60 Canal Road, Ext'd, Zions View, with his Pastor, The Rev. Barbara Ann Barry, officiating. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. William E.
