Anderson DOVER Raymond K. Anderson, 92, entered into rest at 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Manor Care North. Born September 4, 1920, in Dover, he was a son of the late George W. and Mary E. (Gotwalt) Anderson. Raymond was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime farmer who also enjoyed hunting and square dancing. Raymond is survived by a brother, Elwood N. Anderson of Dover; two sisters, Dorothy Beck of Dover and Charlotte Gohn of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Marsh, Catherine Hawkins and Helen Stambaugh. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Raymond's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013, at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Rohler's Mountain View Cemetery where veteran's honors will be presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Helsel, visitation pastor of Dover Bethany U.M. Church.
