SPRING GROVE Richard P. "Dick" Copp, 67, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at his home. He was the husband of Deborah F. (Stubbs) Copp, with whom he celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on April 7, 2012. Viewing will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday, December 10, at Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. At 1:55 p.m. miltary honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Hall, pastor of Friendship Community Church, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family following cremation with the funeral home. Mr. Copp was born July 10, 1945, in York, and was the son of Frances M. (Rohrbaugh) Copp of Spring Grove and the late Paul J. Copp. He was a retired over the road truck driver with Roadway (formerly Consolidated Freight) and was a Vietnam veteran, having serced in the Army. He was a life member of West Manchester VFW Post #7376 and Vietnam Vets Post #35, member of the Hawk Gunning Club, past Home Association President of White Rose VFW Post #556, and attended Friendship Community Church. Mr. Copp is survived by his wife; his mother; a son, Randy L. Crone, Jr. of Spring Grove; two daughters, Sheila L. Herman and husband, Jeffery of York, and Sherri A. Crone of West York; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Joan Norris of York; and two brothers, Ronald Copp of La Jose, Pa., and Thomas Copp of Millsboro, Del.
