YORK Robert O. Cochran, 82, of Windsor Township, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Patsy L. (Burns) Cochran. Born October 4, 1931, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Owen L. and Sarah (Sharpe) Cochran, he was a 1949 graduate of West York Senior High School and a 1957 graduate of Gettysburg College. He retired as president of R.S. Noonan, Inc., and after retirement he worked for Wickersham Construction for 10 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, West York Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Hawk Gunning Club. He was past president of York Boys Club, York Recreation Committee, and the Maryland Association of General Contractors. He also served on the Springettsbury Sewer Committee. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Mr. Cochran is survived by a daughter, Cindy C. Stoltzfus and her husband, Todd of York; a son, Timothy O. Cochran of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Cory Cochran, Samantha Stoltzfus, and Janson Stoltzfus; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sally and Edwin Smith of York; two nieces; and two nephews. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Owen Cochran, and a sister, Mary Jane Fisher. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George St., York, with his Interim Senior Pastor, The Rev. Glenn Miller, officiating. Viewing will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S.
