DOVER AnnaBelle C. Shirey, 79, of Dover Township, died of kidney failure Saturday morning, July 5, 2014, at her home. She was the wife of Cletus A. Shirey, Jr. Born July 18, 1934, in Adams County, a daughter of the late Walter F. and Margaret E. (Dingler) Brennan, she had worked at Doe Spun, Mailman's and had also been a babysitter for many years. She was a very active member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband of 64 years, Mrs. Shirey is survived by a son, Jeffrey L. Shirey, of Marietta; two daughters, Brenda J. Wantland, of West York, and Lynnette M. Shirey, of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, a stepson, four brothers, and a sister. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 West Springettsbury Avenue, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Stanley Reep, officiating. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday both at the Church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S.
