YORK Anne L. Salisbury, 85, formerly of Wrightsville, died on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Misericordia Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Elmer Salisbury. Born in Juliustown, N.J., on January 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Stackhouse) Fowler. She was a sales associate at Wal-Mart, and was a dietician for Autumn House-East and the Moravian Manor in Lancaster. Anne was also an RN in Baltimore, Md. She was a graduate of Pemberton (N.J.) High School and went to nursing school in Baltimore. Anne is survived by six sons, Lester Salisbury and his wife, Barbara of Huntington, Ronald Salisbury and his wife, Diane of Akron, Ohio, Rodney Salisbury and his wife, Sandra of Phoenix, Ariz., Arthur Salisbury and his wife, Cinda of Shippensburg, and Earl Salisbury of Etters; a daughter, Gail Myers and her husband, Donald, Sr. of Manchester; a brother, Norman Fowler of Juliustown, N.J.; two sisters, Ada South of New Egypt, N.J., and Ruth Stiger of Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Michael Salisbury; and two brothers, Delbert and Francis Fowler. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday a the funeral home.
