DOVER Barry L. Crone, 58, entered into rest at 12:49 a.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Loretta M. (Coble) Crone. The couple celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on May 11, 2012. Born July 3, 1954, in York, he was a son of the late Earl D. and Laura R. (Simmons) Crone. Barry earned a bachelor's degree from Penn State University. He had 14 years of service for P.H. Gladfelter in Spring Grove where he was a senior laboratory technician. He previously worked for Precision Components. Barry was a member of First Assembly of God. He supported Raol, a Venezuelan child, for six years through a church program. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing, biking and skiing. In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by a sister, Carol A. Miller of York; and two brothers, Donald E. Crone and wife, Shelby of Elkton, Md., and Michael R. Crone and wife, Gail of York. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Barry's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at First Assembly of God, 2270 Susquehanna Trail N., York. Burial will follow in Rohlers Mountainview Cemetery, Dover. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Danny Haas. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is in charge of arrangements.
