YORK Barry L. Dunlap, 69, died Friday, February 21, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Ilgenfritz) Dunlap, with whom he cherished 48 years together. Born August 24, 1944, in Hopewell Township, York County, son of the late David P., Sr. and Bessie M. (Seyler) Dunlap, he had been employed as a service technician with APV Baker in North Carolina. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, lifetime member of the Delphia Athletic Association, and an avid fisherman and card player who enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. In addition to his wife, Mr. Dunlap is survived by a son, Barry E. Markle of Dallas, Pa.; four daughters, Christine Ilgenfritz of York, Wendy L. Little of Summerfield, Dorothy M.F. Carter of York, and Tracy A. Markle of York; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Dunlap, Jr. and Dale Dunlap; and four sisters, Carol Smith, Janet LaValley, Anna Matson, and Gerri Corsa. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Dunlap, and Arthur and Donald Boyer. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating.
