YORK Carl L. Dreisbach, 84, died on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa A. (Slog) Dreisbach with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born on August 10, 1927, in Summit Hill, he was a son of the late Oscar and Margaret (Dale) Dreisbach. Carl retired from Caterpillar, Inc. and later served as a tour guide at Harley Davidson. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Donald L. Dreisbach and his wife, Jenny of York; and two grandsons, Nick Dreisbach and his fiancee, Lauren Anderson, and Tyler Dreisbach. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, from 5 to 6 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 321 S. George St., York, with a Memorial Mass beginning at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Robert M. Gillelan, Jr. V.F. as celebrant. Burial will be private. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc, 2114 W. Market St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
