HELLAM TWP. Catherine L. Noel, 86, of York, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Manor Care Health Services Kingston Court. She was the wife of Wilbur J. Noel, and the late Donald Emenheiser. Born April 5, 1926, in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Emma (Amspacher) Messinger. She was retired as head cook of West York School District, and was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband of nearly 45 years, Mrs. Noel is survived by two daughters, Vickie L. Witman, and her husband, Tom, of York, and Donna K. Wright of Harrisburg; a son, Ronald R. Emenheiser, and his wife, Trish, of Ocean Grove, New Jersey; a foster daughter, Rita Yost, and her husband, Michael, of East Berlin; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Messinger of Hanover; and two sisters, Emma Luckenbaugh of Spring Grove and Ruth Crabbs of Hanover. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Emenheiser; a brother, Ralph Messinger; and a sister, Myrtle Hamilton. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Lutheran Church, 2201 Church Road, with her Pastor, The Rev. Kathy A. Swords, officiating. Viewings will be 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh, and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Church. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
