YORK Charlotte M. Baughman, 95, died at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Village at Kelly Drive. A new angel to brighten God's heaven. She was the wife of Norman L. Baughman, to whom she had been married for 71 years. Born December 20, 1917, in York, she was one of 13 children of the late Harvey and Lucy (Nickol) Fink. She was a homemaker and had worked in a sewing factory during WWII. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling until the age of 90. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baughman is survived by two daughters, Bonnie M. Grove and husband, Lance, and N. Jean Buck and her husband, Robert, all of York; three grandchildren, Traci Otis, Jared Baker, and Jodi Griffin; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Joshua, Chloe, Olivia, and Elliot; and two sisters, Lucy Lutzinger and Barbara Fink. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY, December 11, 2013, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 2164 Mt. Zion Road, York, with her pastor, the Rev. Brian A. McClinton, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, Inc., York, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
