WILLIAMSPORT Charlotte S. MacClarin, 91, entered into rest on June 28, 2013, at the Gatehouse in Williamsport. She was the wife of the late William MacClarin. She was born December 27, 1921, in York, the daughter of the late Alvin and Cordelia S. (Grove) Shellenberger. Charlotte was a telephone operator for Bell of Pennsylvania, retiring in 1983 with 41 and a half years of service. She was a member of Lincoln Senior Center, Messiah Senior Center, Bell Telephone Retirees and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsport. A graveside service will be Friday, July 5, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave., York, officiated by the Grace and Hope Mission. Those attending the graveside service should meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 1:15 p.m. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assisting with arrangements. Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Wanda J. MacClarin of El Cerrito, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area; and by nieces and nephews.
