YORK Danny Lee Quigley, 55, was called into the presence of God, on Monday, February 18, 2012. Born on July 9, 1957,in York, he was the son of Quentin Quigley of York, and the late Kay (Ness) Quigley. He attended York Suburban Schools. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. "Slick", as he was fondly known, was a machinist and mechanic for Quigley Motor Co. for fifteen years. He was a fan of Ford NASCAR drivers and stock car driver Mark Martin. He was a push truck driver at the sprint car races. He is survived by his daughter, Alisha Quigley; his father, Quentin Quigley; four siblings, Randy Quigley, Joey Quigley, Karen Quigley and Melissa Quigley all of York; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Charles Lindeman officiating.
