DILLSBURG David R. Drury, 62, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. David was the widower of the late Maryann Bashore Drury. He was born, November 18, 1950, in Tunnelton, W.Va., the son of Mary Chedester Drury and the late Richard Drury. David was a Quality Inspector with Tooling Dynamics, of York and was a former employee of York Borg Warner. He was a member of the Northern York County Game & Fish Assoc., the South Mountain VFW Post #6771, of Dillsburg and was a avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving children, his son, Brent D. Drury of Dover and Kelly A. Karchnak of Silver Spring, Md.; his brother, James Michael Drury of York; his sisters, Susan Deardorff of Dover and Shelly Taylor of Rossville; his step-sons, David Mike Baim, Sr. of Dillsburg and Ray M. Baim of Mechanicsburg; and four step-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 12 p.m., June 15, 2013, at the Cocklin Funeral Home,Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial wil be at the convenience of the family.
