WEST YORK Dennis Douglas Wolf, 69, entered the presence of God on Sunday, January 26, 2014, from his residence. Born on August 22, 1944, in Columbia, he was the son of the late Gertrude Viola (Black) and Robert B. Wolf. Mr. Wolf honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War Era. Dennis was a member of the Mt. Washington United Brethren Church. He belonged to the VFW Post No. 3768 of West York and was a member of FOE 183. He is survived by two brothers, Robert B. Wolf and wife Joyce of Calilfornia, John J. Wolf of Washington Boro, Lancaster County; a brother-in-law, Leroy Tyson of Murfeesboro, Tenn., a former wife, Sarah B.Wolf of Millville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Monty Lee Tyson. The viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. The service will begin at 2 p.m. with the York County Veterans Honor Guard performing full military rites. The Rev. Skip Bowen will be officiating. Interment will be private in Wrightsville Cemetery. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., is entrusted with the arrangements.
