Dennis Myers Obituary

RED LION Dennis M. Myers, 47, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at his residence. Born in York, on April 8, 1967, he was the son of Kathleen Ann (Breen) Myers of Red Lion and the late Wilson Henry Myers, Jr. Dennis was a graduate of Red Lion High School. He was a self employed owner of Myer's Flooring in Red Lion, installing flooring for 15 years. He attended Christ the Rock Community Church in Red Lion. His memberships include the Red Lion American Legion, and he was vice president of the Legion Riders Post #543. He was an avid hunter. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tinkering in his garage. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids, grand kids, and his dog, Jace. In addition to his mother, he leaves a son, Thomas M. Myers and his companion, Jennifer of Red Lion; a daughter, Savannah A. Myers of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Brielle Myers and Owen Hyatt-Myers; two brothers, Wilson Myers, III and his companion, Tammy Kohler, and David Myers, both of Red Lion; two sisters, Angela Gibson and her husband, Jeff of York, and Krista Confer of Windsor; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; as well as close friends. There will be no viewing. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Christ the Rock Community Church, 401 E. Broadway, Red Lion. There will be no burial. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to help defray funeral expenses. The Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Dennis, I hope you can rest easy and find peace and comfort. The news of your passing was so sad and I had hoped that I would be able to catch up with you since it had been many, many years since we saw each other. I hope that your family can find a way to heal quickly.
