DOVER Donald C. Bollinger, 83, died Saturday, December 7, 2013, at his daughter's home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy E. Bollinger. Born in York on January 21, 1930, Donald was the son of the late Jacob A. and Fannie A. (Diffenderfer) Bollinger. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Avenue, York, with the Rev. Lloyd B. Noaker, Jr., pastor of West Poplar Street Church of God officiating. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Freedom Cemetery. Donald enjoyed going to local carnivals, parades and flea markets and dining out with family and close friends. Mr. Bollinger is survived by two daughters, Donna M. Wolf and husband Stan of Dover, and Cherylyn Bollinger; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Austin Bollinger of Glen Rock and Earl Bollinger of Ill.; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and companion, Betty Senft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Poplar Street Church of God, 915 W.
