RED LION Donald D. Zarfos, 77, of Red Lion, was called into the presence of God on Thursday, October 3, 2013, from his home, with family by his side. He was the husband of Ileen (Innerst) Zarfos with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born on March 7, 1936, in Dallastown, he was the son of the late Helen (Hildebrand) and Morgan C. Zarfos. He was a truck driver for various companies, including Leiphart Trucking, Inc. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ileen Zarfos; five children, Dwayne Zarfos and companion Rosemary, Jeffery Zarfos and wife Melissa, Wanda Zarfos, Timothy Zarfos and wife Cindy, and Matthew Zarfos and wife Laura; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Randall Zarfos; and a sister, Carolyn Poff. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Julie Riese; and siblings, Glenn, Theodore, Roger, Jo Marie, Linda, and Norva. A time of visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Pleasant Grove U.M. Church, 900 Pleasant Grove Road, Red Lion, Pa. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Samantha Torgersen officiating.
